Dr Sofia Karra

Feline medicine · Cat-friendly lead

Sofia holds an advanced certificate in feline medicine and runs our cat-friendly programme. She designed the cat waiting room, chose the pheromone diffusers and insists on towels warmed on the radiator.

Her consults are slow on purpose. Cats hide pain well, and listening carefully is most of the job.

Specialties: Feline medicine
Kidney and thyroid care
Fear-free handling
Languages: Greek, English, Italian
At home: Pistachio, a seventeen-year-old Siamese with opinions
Fun fact: Sings in a rebetiko band on Thursday nights in Psyrri.
