How to make the cat carrier less scary
A carrier that lives in the living room is a carrier your cat will walk into.

Make it furniture
If the carrier only appears before the vet, cats learn fast. Leave it out with a soft blanket and the occasional treat inside.
On the journey
Carry it with two hands, level, and cover it with a towel. Keep the car quiet and cool.
At the clinic
Our cat waiting room is separate and quiet. We will often examine your cat in the bottom half of the carrier.
